Looking for a way to encourage a loved one who has a complicated situation in their life? Pray a novena asking Mary, Undoer of Knots to intercede for them and their intentions, and then send them this Novena Card to let them know you have prayed for them.
About the Design:
The artwork on the front of this card depicts Mary, Undoer of Knots, a title which calls upon Mary's intercession to untie the "knots" in our lives, symbolizing the complicated problems we face. The original painting was commissioned by the grandson of Wolfgang Langenmantel in the 17th century. He asked an artist to paint it after his grandparent's marriage was saved through Mary's intercession.
The inside artwork of this card features a quote from St. Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyon, an early church father, who is the first to mention Mary with her role of being the untier of knots. The quote is surrounded by a ribbon knotted on one side, passing through a Marian symbol, and becoming untied on the other side, symbolizes the intercessory power of Mary in resolving the tangled issues we face.
Novenas to Mary Undoer of Knots are often prayed for the Blessed Mother's intercession to untie the "knots" and complicated problems of our lives, such as marital problems, family disunity or problems from the results of sin.
